Young Pop Punk

Young Pop Punk aims to bring together the Pop Punk community and put the smallest bands on the biggest stage.

The YPP playlist features 250 songs by 250 bands, each with under 50,000 Monthly Spotify Listeners. Not only is it a playlist, we run a quarterly vote where you can pick your TOP 10 tracks!

At the end of each quarter, the Top 10 songs enter the Hall of Fame playlist - a place where you can find the most loved songs in YPP history (we've been going since August 2024!).

Bands that grow past 50k monthly listeners will 'Graduate' from YPP and join the Graduates Playlist - showcasing those pop punk bands on the rise to become the next big thing!

The main YPP playlist is then refreshed with a bunch of fresh new bands and tracks. Song suggestions are welcome and encouraged; my top picks make it to the next vote. If a YPP band released new music, older songs will be swapped out to keep the playlist fresh and constantly evolving.

Ultimately, YPP exists to shine a spotlight on young, up-and-coming pop punk bands and to create a place that makes it easy for you to discover your new favourite band! I hope you love YPP as much as I do!

Please keep in mind that I get a lot of suggestions and with limited spaces available per vote, I can't guarantee your suggested song will make the following quarters Top 250, but I can guarantee that I will add it to my shortlist and will give it a very good listen.
