Young Pop Punk

Young Pop Punk aims to bring together the entire Pop Punk community and put the smallest bands on the biggest stage.

YPP began in August '24 with 250 songs by 250 bands, all with under 50,000 Monthly Spotify Listeners. Everyone then votes for their top 10 songs, creating a monthly overall Top 10 - The Hall of Fame.

Until January '25, every vote would last one month. From Jan, voting will run quarterly beginning with Jan - March '25.

The Top 10 songs from each quarter will be promoted to the Hall of Fame and removed from future votes. The 40 songs with the fewest votes are also removed. Bands exceeding 50,000 monthly listeners will 'Graduate' from YoungPopPunk and be added to the Graduates Playlist.

 

This opens at least 50 spots per month for new songs. Suggestions are welcome and encouraged and my top picks will be added to the next vote.

Suggest a Song

Suggest wisely. Must be originals. Bands must be active with under 50,000 monthly spotify listeners.

 

Please keep in mind that I get a lot of suggestions and with between 30-35 spaces available per month, I can't guarantee your suggested song will make the following months Top 250, but I can guarantee that I will add it to my shortlist and will give it a very good listen. I'm all for self-promotion, so if you think your song is worthy, what are you waiting for!?
